McCleery Equine Veterinary Service is looking for a dependable, enthusiastic person to fill one of two full time positions on our team. Applications can be sent to officemevs@gmail.com. Position 1: Administrative Assistant
The ideal candidate for this position will be someone with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. They will need to rapidly acquire proficiency with detailed practice management software and phone systems. We will prioritize applicants with excellent communication skills, as the person in this position will be interacting with clients, and coordinating communication between clients and doctors. Other tasks include payment processing, scheduling appointments, inventory receiving, and performing some laboratory analyses.
Position 2: Receptionist and Large Animal Veterinary Technician
The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who can excel both in the field handling horses and livestock and in the lab/office/pharmacy environment, where they will answering phones, navigating practice management software, and performing laboratory analyses.
Applicants are required to have a driver's license, horse handling experience and exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience in the veterinary field is a plus, but not a requirement. Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 pounds, jog 100m, and work outdoors in the high heat and humidity of north central Florida.
