Performance Diagnostic Evaluation
When your horse isn’t going the way you expect — but the cause isn’t obvious.
This evaluation is designed to determine where the issue is most likely coming from and what the right next step should be.

This is not a quick look at the trot. It is a structured medical and movement assessment that helps sort performance concerns into a clear direction before choosing treatments.
Rather than trying multiple therapies and hoping something works, we use the findings to guide a focused plan.

After the assessment, the next step typically falls into one of four categories:
Further lameness work-up
If a focal mechanical issue is suspected, a more involved lameness evaluation may be recommended.
Targeted diagnostics
When medical contributors are suspected, diagnostics such as gastroscopy, airway endoscopy, or metabolic testing may be advised.
Integrative or supportive therapies
If functional or comfort-related issues are identified, options such as integrative therapies may be incorporated when appropriate.
Management adjustments
In some cases, the priority may be farrier collaboration, saddle fit review, conditioning changes, or nutrition support.

The Goal
You leave with a prioritized plan — not a list of random treatments — and a clear understanding of what matters most to address first.
