Jennifer LarsonOffice Manager
Jennifer started with McCleery Equine in January of 2021. With a long history of working and training horses, and a background working in a dental office, she is a great asset to the team, both in the field and as a team leader. Jennifer is committed to our clients and assisting them in any way she can! Jennifer enjoys kayaking the Santa Fe River in her free time. She has a sweet dog named Bayou, and an adventurous kitty named Stinky.

Kat SmithVeterinary Technician
Kat joined McCleery Equine in February of 2023. Born in Abilene, Texas and raised in Archer, Florida, Kat is a familiar face to quite a few clients. She's held many positions within the tri-county area, and has grown up within the show industries for both horses and livestock. While Kat has shown everything from western pleasure to western performance horses, these days her focus lies in cutting horses. When not on the truck, Kat and her husband Josh run a breeding operation for AQHA cutting horses. She enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, working cows and hunting with her family.

Armie UgatesAdministrative Assistant
Armie is an administrative assistant at McCleery Equine Veterinary Service, joining the team in June 2024. With a bachelor's degree in communications, she's always been passionate about animal care. She has two years of experience as a veterinary receptionist in Doha, Qatar, and a year working at a non-profit animal welfare organization. In her free time, Armie enjoys music, walking her dog, and watching crime movies. She also volunteers with an animal welfare group, advocating for pet adoption. Armie lives with her husband, Axel, three cats—Dora, Macho, and Mizu—and their dog, Dash.
