Position 1: Administrative Assistant
Summary of the Position: The ideal candidate for this position will be someone with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. This candidate will interact frequently with clients, coordinate communication between clients and doctors, and handle payment processing and scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management, and be proficient in cataloging systems. The candidate will also have the ability to perform/learn how to perform laboratory analyses like: fecal flotations, complete blood cell counts, chemistries, and blood film analyses.

Position 2: Receptionist and Large Animal Veterinary Technician
Summary of the Position: The ideal candidate for this position will be someone that can excel in multiple formats: in the field handling horses and livestock, and in the lab/office/pharmacy. This candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with clients on a daily basis. This candidate will answer phones, navigate practice management software, and learn invoicing systems for appointments. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to perform/learn how to perform laboratory analyses like: fecal flotations, complete blood cell counts, chemistries, and blood film analyses.

- Provide excellent service by maintaining superior cleanliness throughout the appointment and clean the work area prior to leaving an appointment
- Physical requirements include: being able to lift 50 lbs, jog 100m, and work outdoors in inclement Floridian weather

Position 3: On-Call Emergency Veterinary Technician
Summary of the Position: The ideal candidate for this position will be someone that handles emergency situations well. This candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with clients in high-stress situations. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring the veterinary truck is fully stocked prior to emergencies, driving to and from emergencies, and assisting in holding/restraining as well as facilitation of any emergency treatment necessary. The ideal candidate will be available to stay in practice-provided housing for the evening of on-call shifts and will be ready and available to leave the practice within 10 minute notice. This position is also responsible for restocking the truck following emergencies. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to perform/learn how to perform laboratory analyses such as: complete blood cell counts, chemistries and blood film analyses.

- Availability, regardless of caseload, from 5:00pm to 9:30pm one weeknight per week and one weekend (Friday at 5:00pm to Sunday at 9:30pm) per month. Hours worked may extend beyond 9:30pm dependent on caseload. Exact scheduling is variable and dependent upon the call group scheduling (i.e. when MEVS is on-call).
